Each order is thoughtfully handled from start to finish.

Most items at A Wild Fern are preordered just for you. Once your order is placed:

 

  • We carefully source your item

  • It is shipped to us for quality check and packaging

  • We then prepare and ship it to your door

This allows us to offer intentionally chosen pieces without holding excess inventory.

Processing & Shipping Times

Because of this process, shipping happens in two stages.

Processing Time (Sourcing + Preparation):
7–10 business days

Shipping Time (After Dispatch):
3–5 business days

Estimated Total Delivery Time:
10–15 business days

You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.

Ready-to-Ship Items

Some items may be marked as “Ready to Ship.”

These items:

  • Are already on hand

  • Ship within 2–3 business days

If your order includes both preorder and ready-to-ship items, they may ship together unless otherwise requested.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and order cost.

Order Updates

We’ll keep you informed along the way.

You can expect:

  • Order confirmation after purchase

  • Shipping confirmation with tracking once your item is on its way

Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

A Wild Fern is not responsible for:

  • Packages delivered to the wrong location due to entry errors

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses

Delays & Expectations

Because items are sourced before shipping, occasional delays may occur due to supplier or carrier timelines.

We believe in transparency and will always communicate if anything unexpected arises.

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged or appears lost in transit, please contact us within 5 days of delivery so we can make it right.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love every item you bring home from A Wild Fern. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.

Return Window

Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused and in their original, pristine condition.

Non-Returnable Items

Please note that all final sale and personalized items are non-returnable and cannot be exchanged.

How to Start a Return

  • Email ashley.borud@gmail.com with your order number.

  • Wait for our team to provide specific shipping instructions.

  • Ship items back using secure, original packaging to ensure safe transit.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once items are received and inspected. Processing times may vary depending on your bank.
